Bunny Wishes

Just had to make one more Easter Card using this DZ Doodles image. I have several of their images but just never seem to get around to posting my cards using them or joining in on their challenges.

After looking at the challenge today I realized I really lucked out because this color combo actually works and I didn't even realize it was a color challenge......... Oh geez! I've got to get some rest....LOL
DP is from scrap, embellishments are K&Company, flower is from the Hobby House.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you'll leave me a few kinds words to let me know you've been here so I can hop over and see your new creations for inspiration. My 2 weeks MIA zapped my MoJo!

Have a fantastic week ahead and don't forget, next week I'll be announcing blog candy coming in April for one of my fantastic followers.

Royal Battle Contest at The Greeting Farm-Stamp Rockers

I just have to share this card with you that Deborah made for our team for the Royal Battle of Design Teams at The Greeting Farm.  The teams were challenged to create a retro card and I think she did a fabulous card. I had not a clue about what "retro" was, but I think I got it now..
Check out Deb's blog for more inspiration.

If you get a chance, hop on over to the galleria and take a look at all the cards from all the design teams and then cast your vote for the one you like the best and we've all got our fingers crossed you pick the card by the Stamp Rockers.  .

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon.  Don't forget, blog candy coming in April for one of my wonderful followers.

The Greeting Farm Eggstra Special Challenge

Short post tonight as I need to get this posted so I can link it via Mr. Linky for the Anyone for Anya Challenge this week.  Seems I'm always trying to get things posted at the last minute.....LOL

I've got to get a light box for pictures because they just don't show the true colors unless taken in daylight but here they are anyway.  If you want details on the paper, etc., please leave me a comment and I'll get that information to you.

Hope you enjoy and will stop by back by again soon. Remember Blog Candy coming in April for one of my fantastic followers.

Still Catching Up!

Another crazy week as our youngest son has been here since Saturday and been keeping us on the go house hunting, eating out, helping us get some things in the basement done, shopping, working on the cars, etc., etc...
I finally managed to get a card done for a challenge (not telling which one) and found out I'd put the wrong image for the challenge on the card.....DUH!!  And I thought I was getting it together....LOL  This cute digi stamp is from Sassy Cheryl's, colored with copics and glitzy stickles. Flower soft is the new sage which I used for the grass. Paper is from Basic Grey and flowers are Prima with a few stickles brushed on the edges for some more glitz.  Gotta have that glitz!!!  Spellbinders die and MS leaf punch were also used.

Just wanted you to know I'm trying to get my mojo back after being gone for almost 2 weeks and I am struggling, but I'm working on it.

Taking a copics "Color Me Creative" class from Suzanne Dean and haven't even gotten my homework submitted from Video 1, what does that tell you????  I need more hours in the day or I need to go to bed earlier and get up earlier!!

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon.  Don't forget there is blog candy coming in April for my first year bloganiversary for one of my fantastic followers.

Have a super weekend!

Back with card for Magic In The Air Challenge

Finally made room to get a card done and I think I'm getting this one in just  under the wire.....LOL  I'm so glad to be able to get through the clutter and into my craftroom again.  It's still a mess!!!!

This is gonna be short and sweet because I'm headed to the airport to pick up our youngest son flying in from Denver for a few days.  Maybe help with the mess in the basement????

DP is Karen Foster and matting by Bazzill.  Prima Flowers are from Wild Orchids. Spellbinder's Scalloped Ovals were used for the center.  The little butterfly (and I hope you can see it) was done with Dorothy Twombley Jocquil, Salada, and Black Ultra Fine Glitter.  I definitely need to take a class or find a tutorial on how to create with Glitter Art.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon.

What a Mess!

I've diligently been trying to get my craftroom back to where it is functional, but as of yet, to no avail.  I've been trying to at least get around to visit you all so if I haven't made it by your place this week, please leave me a comment and I'll hop right on over.

As soon as I can get to my supplies, which I hope is tomorrow, I'll be playing again and having fun because I so miss the challenges and just relaxing while playing.

I've signed up to be on a team at The Greeting Farm  that starts next Wednesday so I HAVE to be able to get to my stuff.  Not quite sure what it entails but it sounds like fun.  Last post I saw about it was "Battle of the Design Teams" with the team names and members of each team. I'm excited because it sounds like a great time and getting to meet new bloggers and crafters.

Have you checked out the new Color Me Creative Classroom by Suzanne Dean? If not, hop on over to the new ning network to see what it's all about.  If I can ever get logged in I'll be participating in those classes. I think my computer has a mysterious elf somewhere as strange things keep happening......lol

Just wanted to let you all know that I'm still here and working effortlessly to get back to my blogging friends. Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope to have a new post real soon.  Blog candy coming in April for all my followers so be sure to sign up to follow if you find my blog is a blog you enjoy visiting.

MIA For a Short time

Just wanted to let you all know that I'll be gone again for a few more days.  It's just been one of those wonderful weeks where Murphy's Law has come to visit and doesn't seem to want to leave..LOL.

To make a long story short my husband fell down the steps and broke his foot, the next day the basement flooded that we had just remodeled a year and a half ago, so we have been through the gammit this week with doctor appointments, estimates, etc., etc., etc., and trying to get all the water out. So far, no one has been able to find where the water came from so I'm now minus carpet and padding in one room and watching the tile in the other rooms to make sure the grout doesn't get soft.  It's a MESS!!!

I hope to have my craftroom up and running again by early next week so will be back to playing in the challenges and visiting you all.  Until then, stay safe, have fun, and keep smiling.

Pot of Gold

I just fell in love with this image when I saw it yesterday so wanted to get my post done early to give all of you a chance to hop on over to  "There's Magic In The Air" Challenge Blog so you can play along this week. Nina is giving this cute freebie for everyone to participate in the challenge.

Went shopping in Kansas City last Friday and found this lush DP by Reminise, which can be found online by clicking on the Reminise link. The other DP is by Best Creations.  I personally have not shopped either one of the sites but I wanted to find them in case I wanted to order other papers by them.  One of my grandsons turns 26 on St. Pat's Day so I was looking for some paper to make his card and I thought this would be perfect, especially after I saw this digi stamp by Nina.  Bazilla Lime Crush was used for the card base and matting.  The sentiment I found on line at Fiona's Place.

Other goodies used: Lime Green and Gold Ranger Stickles; Barbara Trombley's Art Glitter (Ensalada) for vest, sleeve cuffs, & hat buckle; Flower Soft Ultra Fine Sage; Doodlebug brads.  Sorry!!!! I started coloring another image and got my Copics all mixed up so there is no picture of what I used to add this time.
CRS another Senior Moment!!

Thanks so much for stopping by to visit and I hope to see you again soon.  Please be sure to leave me a comment so I can hop over and visit you to see what's new.  In fact, I'm going hopping myself in a just a few.

Sorry, I haven't gotten any Sweet & Sassy Digi Stamps yet but will get that done later tonight or this weekend. Here is my card for the pink and yellow challenge today. It's one of those days where I couldn't find anything and I so wanted to put a little chick in that hatched egg.
The paper, ribbon, prima flowers are from my stash and the image is from DZ Doodles. The 2 little rabbits are cut out from a section of the paper I didn't use (aren't they just the cutest).
Copic, stickles, and shimmer used:

Late Again for Friday Sketcher's Challenge #91

After looking closely at this it may also qualify for a green challenge I saw somewhere and can't remember where. I've got to get better about making myself notes..LOL
All of the paper is from my stash, the brads are Spare Parts, flowers are Prima and MS punch for the branches.
The image is from DZ Doodles with Spellbinder's oval nestie and colored with the following copics:
It sure takes a lot of copics for 1 small image!!!!
